Attorneys, physicians, chiropractors, and medical professionals gathered at the renowned West New York, NJ restaurant.

Attendees were invited by Dr. Dariusz Nasiek, a pain management specialist, and were joined by sponsor Gregory Hedgepeth, owner of Paragon Neuromonitoring. Dr. Dariusz Nasiek, a triple board-certified pain management specialist and renowned author, opened the evening by announcing his collaboration with Dr. Brian Heller, DC, and Dr. Anthony Orlando, PT, at their newest office location at 7700 River Drive in North Bergen. The three doctors are excited to work together to serve the Hudson County area.

Dr. Nasiek shared that his third book, “Brain Impact: Navigating Traumatic Brain Injury After Accidents,” is almost complete. The audience learned about the book and received tips on navigating a brain injury. Traumatic Brain Injuries (TBIs) are more common than many realize, claiming 137 lives per day in the United States, with approximately 1.4 million people sustaining a TBI annually.

Dr. Nasiek emphasized the importance of prompt TBI diagnosis for better treatment outcomes and improved quality of life, highlighting the symptom checklist and self-diagnosis guide in his upcoming book. Long-term implications of TBI include increased dementia risk, decreased life expectancy (by nine years on average), and a range of associated issues such as seizures, sleep disorders, infections, headaches, mood disorders, mental health challenges, and suicide risks.

Dr. Nasiek’s August event attendees received a complimentary “Brain Impact” copy to further educate themselves on this critical topic. Dr. Nasiek extends his gratitude to all who attended the event, expressing appreciation for the support and enthusiasm that contributed to its success.

The next event is scheduled for September 26. Stay tuned for more details!
