The PAC’s mobile registration unit greeted members of St. Frances de Chantal Church after Sunday morning mass and helped them prepare for November’s presidential election.

A larger than expected rush of applicants responded to the appeal of the church’s pastor, Rev. Andrew Kurowski, who urged his parishioners to actively participate in America’s democratic process.

The Polish American Congress began its registration drive in April and plans to continue it to the end of September. It has already visited Polish American communities in Brooklyn, Queens, Staten Island and Long Island.

ON OVERLOAD … Zygmunt Bielski’s agile and rapid penmanship was put to the test at Boro Park’s St. Frances de Chantal Church during the visit of the Polish American Congress mobile registration unit on Sunday morning.

Mr. Bielski is Scoutmaster of the Polish Scouting Organization Harcerze.
