The KF Florida Chapter cordially invites you to an evening of history, music, and celebration at our Annual Soirée Fundraiser.
Program Highlights
- A Talk by Alex Storozynski, Pulitzer Prize–winning journalist, author, and filmmaker, President Emeritus & Chairman of the Board, The Kosciuszko Foundation, and author of “Spies in My Blood: Secrets of a Polish Family’s Fight Against Nazis & Communists”. Alex Storozynski comes from a family that survived Nazi slave labor camps and the Soviet Gulags—and fought back as soldiers, spies, and assassins. Three generations of undercover agents lived in the Storozynski household, and their extraordinary true stories are revealed in Spies in My Blood—a gripping account of courage, resistance, and identity set against the darkest chapters of the 20th century.
- Following the talk, we will invite you to a concert by Karolina Mikołajczyk, violin, and Iwo Jedynecki, accordion. Described as “a duo so well-matched they sound like one instrument,” Karolina Mikołajczyk and Iwo Jedynecki are among the most vibrant and innovative chamber ensembles of their generation.
- Cocktail Reception. Enjoy a festive cocktail reception with hors d’oeuvres, and connect with fellow supporters and friends of the Kosciuszko Foundation READ More via the comments section below.
