The world most famous and most glamour film festival in the world, the Cannes Film Festival is held traditionally in France in May. For 12 days in May, the City of Cannes becomes the capital of the world film industry. Leonardo DiCaprio, Johnny Depp, Jude Law, Margot Robbie, Harrison Ford, Alicia Vikander, and Natalie Portman are among the celebrities expected to attend the week-long event.

The 76th edition of the Cannes Film Festival will take place from May 16 to 27, 2023.

French actress Chiara Mastroianni will be the master of ceremonies at the 76th Cannes Film Festival. Swedish director Ruben Östlund will be the president of the jury for the 76th edition.

Who is present at the Cannes Festival this year?

Leonardo DiCaprio and Robert DeNiro are there for the new Martin Scorsese film „Killers of the Flower Moon”. Harrison Ford, Mads Mikkelsen and Phoebe Waller-Bridge are here with the Indiana Jones saga „Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny” , Jude Law and Alicia Vikander will represent Karim Aïnouz’s historical drama Firebrand. Asteroid City with the Tom Hanks, Scarlett Johansson, Margot Robbie, Edward Norton, Maya Hawke and many more.

In agreement with Apple Original Films, the Cannes Film Festival confirms that Martin Scorsese will present the world premiere of „Killers of the Flower Moon”.

The Cannes Film Festival founded in 1946 it is held annually at the Palais des Festivals et Des Congres. The most prestigious award, the Palme D’Or, is awarded to the best film. Michael Douglas will receive the honorary Palme d’Or for his lifetime achievement at the 2023 Cannes Festival.
