N.Y. City honors three from polish american congress

Three Distinguished Polish Americans. New York City observed Polish American Heritage Month this year by selecting three members of the Downstate N.Y. Division of the Polish American Congress for special recognition.
Shown here (from left) are: Janusz Krzyzanowski, National Commander of the Polish Veterans of World War II (SPK); Chet Szarejko, Chairman of the Political Activities Committee of the Polish American Congress and the Hon. Gregory Lasak, Judge of the New York Supreme Court. Also honored was Christine Holowacz, a Polish American community activist in Greenpoint, Brooklyn.
Conducting the Heritage Month ceremony was William C. Thompson, Jr., Comptroller of the City of New York.
