What is Botox?
Botox is a highly purified and diluted form of the Botulinum toxin, a very popular facial aesthetic treatment to reduce the visible signs of ageing or developed lines from exposure to the sun. It’s a muscle paralysis agent whereby the substance is injected with a fine needle to the lined or furrowed areas such as the forehead or eye area, to temporarily relax the underlying muscles of the face and neck to prevent them from over-working, which is what causes wrinkles and fine lines to appear.
