A junior attending Franciscan University of Steubenville, Yokules is pursuing a bachelor’s degree in education with emphasis in Early Childhood Education. While at Franciscan Yokules has made the Dean’s List and maintains a 3.0+ GPA.
During her sophomore year, Yokules was selected to participate in Franciscan University’s European Summer Abroad Program. This trip enabled her to travel to a number of countries, including Poland, the land of her heritage.
In addition, Yokules is an active volunteer with the Sacro Cuore Foundation, participating in their recent mission trip to Romania. There she worked with children of all ages in personal hygiene, communication skills, athletics and cultural exchange. Post-graduation, Yokules’s plan is to pursue an elementary school teaching career.
Ms. Yokules is the granddaughter of Milt and Felicia (Ilczuk) Bruce, ACAA Class of 1967 and 1966 respectively.
