Consul General Piotr Janicki attended a Polish American networking event on April 11 at the John Marshall Law School. The event was organized by the Polish-American Law Student Association (PALSA), headed by its President Agnieszka Baumert. The goal of the meeting was to celebrate Polish heritage, network and foster interest in the legal profession and Polish-American culture and traditions.

– I am very glad that more and more Polish Americans are joining the legal profession and pursuing their careers in this field. This prestigious and demanding profession comes with a great degree of responsibility . It takes integrity and public trust. I wish you all that and I hope that through your hard work you will earn your trust and make great lawyers – Consul General Janicki said to a group of law students and members of the PALSA at the John Marshall Law School.

The event speaker was Judge Linda Kuczma, TTAB. The event was also attended by attorneys from a number of law firms, such as: Foley & Mansfield, Hinshaw & Culbertson LLP, Mayer Brown LLP, Patzik, Frank & Samotny Ltd, Polsinelli, and Sidney Austin LLP.
