The Ambassador also articulated the current decisions being made by the European Council with regard to Ukraine and underlined the importance and appreciation for the US decision to deploy 12 additional F-16s in Poland, in the scope of the Aviation Detachment training project. Chairman Rogers assured the Ambassador that the United States Congress would do all it can to support initiatives calling for greater US-Polish cooperation in the military sphere.
Finally, the meeting also presented an opportunity to converse about Poland’s inclusion in the Visa Waiver, and Ambassador Schnepf expressed his gratitude to the Chairman for his willingness to support and raise this issue with his Congressional counterparts.
