Lewandowski scored two penalties, one of which was converted 30 minutes into the first half. The score was held until half way into the second half were Lewandowski scored from a close-range header to double Poland’s score line. The Bayern Munich star completed yet another hattrick when he converted his second penalty of the game in the 62nd minute. Romania were only able to answer with one back after a clinical strike from Bogdan Stancu.
Poland continue their qualification march in September, when they play away in Denmark.
