The project has been conceived by Muzeum Historii Żydów Polskich POLIN in Warsaw.
The exhibition began with a lecture by the director of the POLIN Museum Mr. Dariusz Stola followed by a Q&A session. Among other speakers there were: Poland’s Deputy Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki, Consul General Maciej Golubiewski and Consul for Media Affairs at the Consulate of Israel in New York Shimon Mercer-Wood.
The event was attended by many guests including Holocaust survivors and representatives of Jewish organizations in New York.
