New York: Meeting with Polish Participants of the New York City Marathon

Around 200 Polish runners visited the Polish Consulate to share their marathon experiences, on November 7. Consul Katarzyna Padło congratulated all the participants.

Around 250 Polish runners took part in the TCS New York City Marathon.

Robert Korzeniowski, four-time Olympic Champion race walker, represented Poland as he finished the TCS New York City Marathon with a 2:47:53 time being therefore the best “celebrity” in the run.The best Polish female and male runners: Piotr Cypryanski & Karolina Wasniewska were awarded with trophies by Consul Katarzyna Padło.

Bartek Żelatys, captain and organizer of the fluid station in Greenpoint – Mile 13, spoke on behalf of the volunteers.
