It is disheartening to witness such acts, especially during festive celebrations, when Jewish community members, including children, gather at the parliament for the annual Hanukkah ceremony.
“Acts of intolerance have no place in a society that aspires to uphold democratic values and human rights and go against the principles we advocate for. The Kosciuszko Foundation promotes ideals of acceptance and equality, values embodied by our namesake Tadeusz Kosciuszko. We believe in fostering a society that embraces diversity and respects religious traditions. Therefore, we categorically denounce all forms of hatred and discrimination that are becoming more visible in Poland,” said Marek Skulimowski, KF President and Executive Director.
In these challenging times, the Kosciuszko Foundation calls for unity and understanding among all communities. We support the Jewish community and wish them a safe and peaceful Hanukkah.
