It is a physically impressive monument and has a very prominent position, inside its own traffic circle, in Inner Harbor East near the Marriott Hotel and Little Italy.
Using the 1940 Katyn Massacre as its focus, it is dedicated to the memory of all prisoners of war.
If you cannot make it to the annual memorial ceremonies on Sunday, April 6, please try to visit the memorial when you are in town.
