They are standing near the Center’s current exhibit commemorating the 30th anniversary of the December, 1981 Communist declaration of martial law against Poland’s SOLIDARITY trade union and its struggle for human rights in that country.
Mr. Liu is an old friend of Szarejko and began his political career when he joined the Eastern Queens Democratic Club headed by Szarejko at the time.
Also attending and expressing his Christmas greetings to the Center and guests was Assemblyman Joseph Lentol.
