Gridlock Alert Day Wednesday

The Rockefeller Center Tree Lighting will take place from 5pm to 9pm at Rockefeller Center at 5th Avenue between 49th Street and 50th Street. Starting at 5pm, 48th Street to 51st Street between Madison Avenue and 6th Avenue will be closed. The Gridlock Alert Days are part of the City’s Holiday Traffic Mitigation Plan, which can be found on the DOT Web site at http://nyc.gov/html/dot/html/about/pr2006/pr06_69.html
