It gathered many great artists, performers and guests. The Consul General Urszula Gacek started the evening by extending warm greetings to all participants. Shortly after, we had a wonderful performance by Kobo Music Studio (Robert Bronchard, Kerri Thomson and Nicholas Kaponyas) followed by jazz duet Krzysztof Medyna – saxophone and Andrzej Winnicki – piano.
Mr. Marek Skulimowski from the Foundation proceeded to the main part of the event ,the auction. Presented were paintings and photographs donated by the artists: R.Olbinski, J.Skowron, Artur Skowron, B.Kujawski, Z.Sokolowski, H.Bakula, E. Banecka, T.Betlej, P. Bielecki, A. Bilinska, R.Horowitz, K.Kamont, J.Kapusta, W.Karwowski, I.Kieltyka, R.Kowanski, J.Kuszaj, R.Matejko, R.Mucha, S.Mrozowski, B.Osnowicz, J.Plucha, P.Powietrzynski, M. Rudek, J.Sroka, M.Starzec, A.Szoska, H.Wiel, E.Zeller and F.M.Benett. Auctioned were also the art paintings sent by children from orphanages in Jelenia Gora, St. Brother Albert Association in Stalowa Wola, Special Education Center ” Kormoran” in Elk and “Nike” Association for Disabled People from Bialystok in Poland.
The foundation was able to collect $10,800. The money will be used to continue their mission to help unprivileged children. A significant portion of the money will be going to orphanages in Poland.
