The Tablet, the official newspaper of the Diocese of Brooklyn, will lead a Walking Pilgrimage on Wednesday, September 9, 2026, through several Catholic memorial sites across the borough dedicated to those who lost their lives in the September 11, 2001, terrorist attacks.
The pilgrimage, themed “Honor, Remember, Walk Together,” will begin at 2:00 p.m. at St. Patrick’s Church in Bay Ridge and make stops at significant 9/11 memorials. Along the route there will be prayer, and Tablet reporters will share the stories of parishioners, students, families, and first responders whose lives were touched by the attacks.
