„During the talks at the Secretariat of State, held in a cordial atmosphere, reference was made to the good relations existing between the Holy See and France. Subsequently, the focus was on important international issues, exchanging views on conflict situations in the world, expressing hope that peaceful coexistence can be restored through dialogue and negotiations” – the Holy See Press Office said in a statement.
