Thank you for every gesture, for every prayer, and for being with us – adds Bishop Vitaliy Kryvytskyi.

Terrible and exhausting winter

i„Dear Poles, from cold Kyiv, to the sound of generators, I want to wholeheartedly thank you for your prayers, for your open hearts, and for such concrete help shown to Ukraine and the residents of Kyiv during this terrible and exhausting winter” – says Bishop Kryvytskyi in an interview with Vatican News. He emphasizes that the situation in Kyiv is truly very difficult, and therefore the solidarity of Poles is a sign of hope, a light in the darkness for his compatriots.

We have already experienced your brotherhood

The Bishop of Kyiv-Zhytomyr recalled that Ukrainians had already experienced true Christian brotherhood from Poles in 2022. „Today you are again giving such a vivid testimony of faith and mercy” – adds Bishop Kryvytskyi. Now – he continues – when the frost penetrates our cities, our hands and feet, your Christian love warms both hearts and bodies.

We pray for your intentions

Thanking Poles for every gesture of support, Bishop Kryvytskyi asks God to reward the help shown a hundredfold. „We fervently pray for this in your intentions” – assured the Latin bishop of the Ukrainian capital.
