Christmas Eve is seven weeks away, which means this is the last good moment to send a holiday parcel to Poland by sea. POLUS Agency in Philadelphia has published the deadlines for shipping parcels so they reach family and friends in Poland before Christmas Eve.
Christmas 2026 parcel shipping deadlines
According to POLUS Agency, holiday parcels must be shipped no later than:
- Standard Sea (delivery in 4–6 weeks) – by November 11,
- Priority Sea (3–5 weeks) – by November 17,
- Standard Express (1–2 weeks) – by December 2,
- Priority Express (5–8 days) – by December 9.
Sea shipping is the cheapest option, but it also has the least time left – a standard sea parcel has to be shipped by next Wednesday, November 11. If you miss that date, you still have a few weeks to send it by express.
How to prepare a holiday parcel to Poland
A few simple rules will help your parcel arrive without trouble:
- Don’t wait until the last day. November and December are the busiest months for shipping agencies, and delivery times are estimates.
- Pack it well. Use a sturdy box, fill empty spaces and protect fragile items, especially for long sea transport.
- Prepare a list of contents. International shipments require a description of what is inside and its value.
- Include the recipient’s full address and phone number in Poland – it makes delivery easier.
- Ask about the rules for food, medicine and cosmetics. Not everything can be shipped – the agency will tell you what you can put in the parcel.
- Keep your shipping receipt so you can check where your parcel is.
