This three-episode Czech production recounts the trial defending the good name of Jan Palach, a philosophy student at Charles University in Prague, who, on January 16th, 1969, in protest of the Warsaw Pact invasion, the Soviet occupation and the apathy of Czech society, set himself on fire.
