“I have a surprise!” the 29-year-old singer told reporters during a red-carpet chat at the Video Music Awards ceremony as she cradled her bulging belly.
She did not elaborate, but the pregnancy was later confirmed by the singer’s spokeman, the magazine said.
This will be the first child for Beyonce and her husband of three years, 41-year-old rapper Jay-Z.
