Bayern and Dortmund off to winning performances in Bundesliga

The start of the 2017/2018 season in Germany saw rather straightforward performances from the German juggernauts.

Bayern’s new signings had immediate impact as NIklas Sule connected with Sebastian Rudy’s inswinging free kick. Meanwhile Corentin Tolisso was able to score a second from a close-range header. Robert Lewandowski capped off the dominant performance with a penalty, as VAR (video assistant referee) awarded the Bavarians with a spot kick after a review of the foul on the Polish striker.

Meanwhile, Borussia Dortmund recorded a 0-3 away win at Wolfsburg, with American Christian Pulisic netting in his first goal of the new season. Later on, Marc Bartra and Pierre Emerick Aubameyang also started off their seasons with goals.

Also, Mario Gotze came on after a long break due to injury, he got off the mark as well by providing an assist.
Bayern Munich continue their campaign with an away game at Werder Bremen, while Dortmund play at home to Hertha Berlin.
