XIX Polish Culture Festival in New York

SATURDAY, JUNE 8
7:45 pm - Exhibition of paintings and veneers of 
the Polish artists: Grzegorz Czarnecki 
with his son Matthew (marquetry), 
Stanisław Grebski (oil painting), Zbigniew Sokołowski (oil painting), Jan Radomyski (oil painting). Throughout the
evening, the exhibition will be accompanied by
the music and songs of Joanna Mieleszko, Agnes Kalinowski, Victoria Policht. Presentation of the books of Fr. Ryszard Koper: "Spojrzenie ku niebu” and “Wiara i piękno”.

8:00 pm - Miss Polonia Dance and Dinner (ticket reservations 
at Holy Cross Rectory Office 718-894-1387 
and from Polish School Office 917-439-8482). Music by the group “The Masters”.

SUNDAY, JUNE 9
2:30 pm - Beginning of Festival - music provided by the group
“The Masters”. Buffet of Polish foods available
for purchase. Exhibition of paintings and veneers of the Polish
artists: Grzegorz Czarnecki with his son Matthew (marquetry), Stanisław Grebski (oil painting), Zbigniew Sokołowski (oil painting), Jan Radomyski (oil painting). Throughout the evening, the exhibition
will be accompanied by the music and songs
of Joanna Mieleszko, Agnes Kalinowski, Victoria Policht. Presentation of the books of Fr. Ryszard Koper:
“Spojrzenie ku niebu” and “Wiara i piękno”. Polish books, music CDs will be offered for sale,
and other attractions.

3:00 pm - Games and prizes for children, face painting 
and many other attractions.
3:30 pm - Folk Dance presentation of the children’s
dance group „Wianek”. Dance presentation by Joseph’s Dance Studio. Dance review by Danuta Zakrzewska’s Dance Group “Iskierki”. Dance review by Jolanta Filip’s Dance Group. “Drawing-on-Asphalt” - Art competition for children.
4:45 pm - Concert by the Parish children’s music group „Gaudete” and the Presentation of their CD.
5:15 pm - Official Opening by the Consul General
of Poland in New York.
5:30 pm - Mini-Concerts by young “stars”: Ewelina Backiel, Tomasz Kozakiewicz, Paulina Nowakowski.
6:00 pm - Concert by Ewa Lewandowska - An outstanding young Soprano with a unique voice
and also a finalist on TV’s “Got Talent”.
7:00 pm - Program by the the Parish Music Composers Group. Concert by the Parish Music Combo.
7:30 pm - Folkloric Dance Group “Polonez Dance”.
8:00 pm - Dance.
10:00 pm - Conclusion.
