The 90-minute Kosciuszko concert will feature interesting music by 8 composers, 4 of whom have won the Grawemeyer Award for Music Composition, and 6 of whom are Polish composers. In addition to music by Penderecki and Lutosławski, we will perform music by the great film composer, Wojciech Kilar, the 24-year-old emerging composer Aleksandra Chmielewska, who is currently studying in Warsaw, Kazimierz Machala, a successful active composer living in Warsaw, and of course, Frédéric Chopin!
