The Press Office of the Holy See presented a list of official delegations that will participate in the funeral Mass of Pope Francis. Among the guests will be 85 heads of state – crowned heads, presidents, and prime ministers, as well as 9 vice-presidents and deputy prime ministers.

Honorary place for the Argentine delegation

The first places will be occupied by the official delegation from Argentina, the homeland of the deceased Pope, led by President Javier Milei.

The next place will be taken by the official delegation from Italy, with President Sergio Mattarella and Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni.

President of Poland and Marshal of the Sejm

The remaining delegations will be seated in alphabetical order according to the French alphabet.

Poland will be represented by President Andrzej Duda, who will arrive with his wife Agata Kornhauser-Duda. The Polish delegation will also include Marshal of the Sejm Szymon Hołownia, Deputy Prime Minister Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz, and the Ambassador of Poland to the Vatican, Adam Kwiatkowski.

Presidents of the USA, France, Germany, Ukraine

The President of the European Commission, Ursula Von der Leyen, and the President of the European Parliament, Roberta Metsola, will be present at the ceremony.

French President Emmanuel Macron with his wife, the presidential couple of the United States Donald Trump with his wife Melania, Volodymyr Zelenskyy with his wife Olena, Prince William, and the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom Keir Starmer will arrive.

Germany will be represented by President Frank-Walter Steinmeier and Chancellor Olaf Scholz.
