The Christmas season is usually not an occasion to promote holiday events, but in the case of the Festival of Life, choosing such a date was fully justified. On Christmas Eve, the Church commemorated the first people in the liturgy, and – as it turns out – Adam and Eve will be the protagonists of the largest Christian festival for youth in Poland, which will take place at the beginning of July in Kokotek, Silesia. Why this choice and what will the festival be about?
The Beginning… and what next? The intriguing theme of the Festival of Life 2026
“In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth” – with these words, the Bible begins. But how? A divine project or cosmic improvisation? Man formed from the dust of the earth or the result of millions of years of evolution? 7 days of creation and 7 days of the Festival of Life…” – we read on the festival’s social media with a post featuring a mysterious graphic and the slogan for next year’s edition: The Beginning.
– The story of Adam and Eve is often reduced to a children’s fairy tale illustrated with colorful pictures – and unfortunately, that’s where the average knowledge of this topic ends. Yet, it’s not some myth or legend, but part of the first book of the Bible, which has a deep theological dimension. That’s why we want to “demystify” the description of the creation of the world and the first people, to discover its actual meaning and to look for concrete arguments in the relationship between science and faith – explains Szymon Zmarlicki, press spokesman for the Festival of Life.
Six months until the Festival of Life. Registration has begun
Previous editions of the festival gained notoriety, among other things, thanks to remixes of Catholic songs such as “Abba, Father” and “The Lord is my Shepherd”, which went viral even outside of Poland. What will the organizers surprise us with next year?

The Festival of Life will take place from July 6 to 12 in Kokotek, Silesia. The exact program is yet to be announced, but as always, you can expect music stars known from the biggest stages, conferences with esteemed speakers, thematic workshops, an extreme cross-country run, as well as a musical evening of adoration and daily outdoor Holy Masses.
