Polamer, Inc. reminds customers that the first shipping date for Christmas sea parcels to Poland is Thursday, October 29, 2026. Sea freight takes longer than air, so sending early is the best way to make sure your family in Poland opens the box before Christmas Eve.
“With Polamer, Christmas is closer” – with this message, the company that has connected the Polish-American community with families in Poland for years opens this year’s holiday shipping season. Christmas is coming fast, and a parcel from America – with gifts, sweets or things loved ones miss – is still an important part of the holidays for many families.
When should you ship a sea parcel to Poland for Christmas?
According to Polamer, the first Christmas sea parcel shipping date is October 29. Ocean shipping is slower than air freight and parcel volumes grow in December, so it is safest to pack your box now rather than wait until the last minute. Ask Polamer directly about later dates and details.
How do you prepare a Christmas parcel for Poland?
A few simple rules help you avoid problems and delays:
- Plan the contents ahead – make a detailed list of what you are sending; you will need it for the shipping documents.
- Use a sturdy box – a sea parcel travels a long way, so put heavy items at the bottom and fill empty spaces so nothing shifts.
- Protect fragile items – wrap glass, cosmetics and electronics separately and mark them.
- Check what you cannot ship – before packing, ask Polamer for the list of prohibited items and current customs rules.
- Give full recipient details – full name, exact address in Poland and a phone number.
Sea or air parcel for Christmas?
A sea parcel is a good choice when you are sending more items and can ship early. When time is short, faster air shipping remains an option. Learn more about sending a parcel to Poland from anywhere in the US in Shipping a parcel to Poland from anywhere in the USA through Polamer.
