There is a small detail that distinguishes a Polish home from an American one: the memory of name days. In the States, birthdays overshadow everything else, and the question “when is your name day?” can be surprising to the younger generation. Meanwhile, for many Polish families, it is still a date that is remembered — and one that you have to ask about somewhere, because the American calendar won’t show it.
That is why in the pocket-sized edition of Mini Polish Pages, the calendar takes up twelve pages and is — as experience shows — the main reason why people keep this booklet all year round, long after it is no longer needed to look for a plumber.
What is inside the Business Directory with the calendar
The summer edition covers a full twelve months: from July 2026 to June 2027. Each month is on a separate page, with the names of the days of the week in Polish and English — which matters in homes where the older generation speaks Polish and the grandchildren speak English.
Next to each day, Polish name days are listed — usually three names, so the chance of finding the right one is quite high. Alongside them are Polish and American holidays: from Presidents’ Day and Columbus Day, through Grandparents’ Day, to daylight saving time, the beginning of summer, and movable holidays.
This combination is the essence here. A strictly Polish calendar will not remind you of an American day off, and an American one will not tell you when grandma’s name day falls. Both work together in one place.
Where to get the print edition
We distribute Mini Polish Pages free of charge in four states: New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, and Pennsylvania — which is where Polish communities are the largest.
The format is pocket-sized (5.5 × 8.5 inches, 72 pages), which was a conscious choice: the booklet is meant to fit in a car glove compartment, a purse, or a kitchen drawer, rather than sit on a shelf.
And here is one note worth taking seriously: copies disappear from distribution points very quickly. We receive phone calls from various states asking to deliver or send more booklets — usually when the print run has already been distributed.
Whoever arrives earlier gets a paper copy. The rest are left with the digital version — fortunately identical in content.
Digital version — the same edition on your phone
If copies have already run out in your area — or you simply prefer to have the directory handy on your phone — the entire edition is available online, without circulation limits. It’s the same booklet, page by page, with working page-turning and a complete calendar.
The digital version has one advantage over paper: phone numbers are clickable, so you can call a company with a single tap instead of copying digits.

Aside from the calendar, the directory contains contact details for Polish businesses and specialists organized by industry and by state — attorneys, doctors, contractors, financial services, stores, and other categories. The index of categories with page numbers can be found on pages 12–13.
In this issue, there are also discount coupons from companies that offered them, with their expiration dates provided.
