On the occasion of the 82nd anniversary of the Warsaw Uprising, the Consulate General of the Republic of Poland in New York invites you to an author meeting with Grzegorz Piątek, dedicated to the rebuilding of the capital and his book The Best City in the World. Warsaw in Reconstruction 1944–1949.
The discussion and Q&A session will begin on Monday, August 3, at 6:30 PM.
We warmly encourage you to join the event, reflect together on the history of Warsaw, and commemorate the Warsaw Uprising. After the official part, we invite all participants to continue the discussion in an intimate atmosphere and enjoy informal conversations with the author over a glass of wine.
