The concert “Sound of Generations” is a musical journey through decades of Polish song in a truly American style. The audience can expect the greatest hits of Krzysztof Krawczyk, Zbigniew Wodecki, Czesław Niemen, as well as hits by the band VOX, Andrzej Zaucha, and Czerwone Gitary — in a unique fusion of Polish classics and the tradition of an American brass band. The whole performance is seasoned with humor and stories that will bring closer the history of iconic songs and their creators, giving the concert the form of a true musical spectacle.
AllDęte Brass Band is a phenomenon on the Polish music scene. The band was formed in 2018 on the initiative of brothers Jakub and Wiktor Wojsyk, from Kamienica Śląska, who combined their passion for brass music with the dream of creating something the Polish scene had not yet seen. They started by playing on the streets, but quickly moved to the biggest stages in Poland — from Warsaw, through Krakow, Wrocław, Katowice, to Lublin. Every year since its inception, the band performs on November 11th during the largest independence festival on Krakowskie Przedmieście in Warsaw.
Nine musicians — among them a music school teacher, a former French horn player of the Częstochowa Philharmonic, musicians collaborating with Piotr Rubik’s Orchestra and many other formations — create an unforgettable spectacle on stage. The lineup consists of: Jakub Wojsyk (trumpet), Tobiasz Bała (trumpet), Dominik Troczka (saxophone), Leszek Gliński (French horn), Wiktor Wojsyk (trombone), Michał Włodarczyk (tuba), Miłosz Caban (accordion), Kacper Jaślar (drums) and Kamil Gaciek (vocals). They are united by energy, passion, and a fresh perspective on iconic hits, to which they give a completely new, dynamic character.
The band has two albums to its credit — the EP “Przestrzeń” (Space) (2020) with their first original compositions, and the album “Czas” (Time) (2023) containing 11 tracks, produced by the renowned Polish sound engineer Andrzej Karp. The band has collaborated on stage with the biggest stars of the Polish music scene, including Maryla Rodowicz, Kuba Badach, Reni Jusis, Big Cyc, Enej, Sławomir, Mrozu, and Future Folk. In 2021, they released the single “Opowiedzcie Wiatry” (Tell Me, Winds) with actor and cabaret artist Krzysztof Respondek, commemorating the 100th anniversary of the Silesian Uprisings.
This is a concert for the whole family — both for those who grew up with these songs and want to experience them anew, and for the younger generation who will discover the classics of Polish song in a modern, captivating rendition. It will be an evening full of joy, laughter, emotion, and shared fun — an evening that will connect generations of the Polish community.
