Closing of 145th Street Bridge Over the Harlem River

Beginning at 12:01 A.M on Wednesday, November 1st, the 145th Street Bridge over the Harlem River will be completely closed to traffic and pedestrians for a period of four months to reconstruct the bridge.

Detours will be necessary. Motorists should use the Willis Avenue Bridge, the Madison Avenue Bridge, the Macombs Dam Bridge, or the Triborough Bridge (toll facility). Pedestrians should use the Macombs Dam Bridge or the Madison Avenue Bridge. Buses on the BX19 line will be detoured over adjacent bridges. Subway passengers should have no interruption in regular service.
