The 145th Street Bridge over the Harlem River will be closed 12:01am to 7am Saturday and Sunday to facilitate testing operations by NYCDOT Bridges. Motorists should use the Macombs Dam or Madison Avenue Bridges as alternate. Closures will not begin until two hours after the conclusion of Yankees’ home night games.
7th Avenue between 45th Street and 59th Street and Broadway from 42nd Street to 45th Street will be closed Saturday, May 5, from 11am to 6pm for the Revlon Walk/Run For Women. The following streets will be closed Sunday, May 6, from 11am to 6pm for the Salute to Israel Parade. Formation: 52nd Street to 56th Street between Park Avenue and 7th Avenue. Route: north on 5th Avenue from 57th Street to 79th Street. End at 5th Avenue and 79th Street.
Second Avenue between 43rd Street & 55th Street in Manhattan will be closed 11am-6pm on Sunday, May 6 for the Turtle Bay Association Festival. The Staten Island Expressway eastbound exit ramp to Lily Pond Avenue/South Beach will be closed from 10pm Friday to 5am Monday to facilitate NY State DOT construction activity. This is the last exit in Staten Island before entering the Verrazano Narrows Bridge for Brooklyn. Motorists should use the prior Clove Road/Richmond Road exit and follow posted detour.
