One of three northbound lanes of the FDR Drive from East 42nd Street to East 62nd Streets may be closed 11pm to 5:30am weekdays, 12:01am to 6am Saturday, and 1am to 11am Sunday. A full roadway closure will occur 1am to 5am weekdays, 2am to 7am Saturday, and 2am to 8am Sunday. These closures will occur from August 14 to August 25 to facilitate NYCHPD shielding removal activity. During the full roadway closures the East 34th Street entrance will be closed. Motorists should plan alternate routes or follow posted detour along northbound 1st Avenue.
Until September 3, the inbound (north side) of the Hamilton Avenue Drawbridge over the Gowanus Canal between Court Street and Smith Street will be closed. Two-way traffic will be maintained on the south side of the bridge. There will be three lanes inbound, one outbound 6am to 10am weekdays, and two lanes in each direction open to traffic all other times. Motorists should expect delays and plan an alternate route.
Mulberry Street between Broome Street and Canal Street in Manhattan will be closed Friday 5pm to midnight, Saturday 11am to midnight, and Sunday 11am to 10pm for the Mulberry Street Pedestrian Mall until October 7.
W.135th Street between 5th Avenue & St. Nicholas Avenue in Manhattan will be closed 10 am to 8pm Saturday and Sunday for Harlem Week.
Fountain Avenue between Sutter Avenue and New Lots Avenue in Brooklyn will be closed Friday through Sunday 11am to 6pm for the Universal Builder Youth Association Festival.
Steinway Street between 25th Avenue and 28th Avenue in Queens will be closed 11am to 6pm Wednesday through Sunday for the Borgetto Feast.

* Elton Avenue between 157th Street & 159th Street in the Bronx will be closed 11am to 6pm for Nos Quedamos
* Nostrand Avenue between Empire Boulevard & Clarkson Street in Brooklyn will be closed 11am-6pm for the Nostrand Avenue Merchants Association Festival
