The 65th Street Central Park Transverse Roadway between 5th Avenue and Central Park West will be closed 12:01 am to 6:00 am Saturday to facilitate NYCDOT bridge inspection work. One of three lanes in each direction on the FDR Drive at the East 78th
Street and East 81st Streets Pedestrian Bridges may be closed 6:00 am to 11:00 am Sunday to facilitate NYCDOT bridge inspection.
One of three lanes of the Belt Parkway westbound between the Queens line and Pennsylvania Avenue will be maintained 11:00 pm to 5:00 am Sunday nights to Friday mornings during NYCDOT milling and resurfacing until late October.

The 3rd Street Bridge over the Gowanus Canal will be closed Saturday 7:00 am to 4:00 pm to facilitate NYCDOT bridge repairs. Three of four upper level lanes of the George Washington Bridge eastbound to New York will be closed overnight on weekends 10:00 pm to 10:00 am Friday nights to Sunday mornings to facilitate Port Authority upper level pavement replacement.

The African Burial Ground Ceremony and Festival will result in street closures in lower Manhattan on Friday and Saturday. The Friday event starts at 7:30 pm and will have rolling closures; as the procession passes, streets will reopen. Procession route: Battery Place and Greenwich Street to Morris Street; Morris Street to Trinity Place/Church Street; Church Street to Park Place; Park Place to Broadway; Broadway to Duane Street; Duane Street to Lafayette Street; Lafayette Street to Worth Street/Foley Square. Additional closures Saturday: Areas bounded by Worth Street on the north; Chambers Street on the south; Broadway on the west; Centre Street on the east; all inclusive.

Pitt Street between Stanton and Rivington Street will be closed Thursday through Sunday from 11:00 am to 6:00 pm for the Our Lady of Sorrows Carnival. 196th Street between Northern Boulevard and 45th Avenue in Queens will be closed Thursday through Sunday 11:00 am to 6:00 pm for the Greek Orthodox Shrine Church Festival.

Mulberry Street between Broome Street and Canal Street in Manhattan will be closed Friday 5:00 pm to midnight, Saturday 11:00 am to midnight, and Sunday 11:00 am to 10:00 pm for the Mulberry Street Pedestrian Mall until October 7.

The following street closures are scheduled for Saturday, October 6:
* Park Avenue between East 57th Street and East 29th Street in Manhattan will be closed 8:00 am to 2:00 pm for the JP Morgan/Chase Corporate Challenge.
* Broadway between West 41st Street and West 24th Street in Manhattan will be closed noon to 3:00 pm for the Korean Parade.
* Park Avenue South between East 17th Street and East 23rd Street in Manhattan will be closed 11:00 am to 6:00 pm for the Gramercy Park Block Association Festival.
* The east side of Broadway between West 110th and West 118th Street in Manhattan will be closed 11:00 am to 6:00 pm for the Upper West Street Fair.
* 63rd Drive between Queens Boulevard and Alderton Street in Queens will be closed 11:00 am to 6:00 pm for the Forest Hills/Rego Park Lions Club.
* Washington Place between Sixth Avenue and Grove Street in Manhattan will be closed 11:00 am to 6:00 pm for the St. Joseph’s Church Festival.
* 61st Street between 17th Avenue and 19th Avenue, and 18th Avenue between 60th Street and 83rd Street in Brooklyn will be closed 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm for the Columbus Italian Heritage Parade.

The following street closures are scheduled for Sunday, October 7:
* Fifth Avenue between East 44th and East 86th Street in Manhattan will be closed 11:00 am to 6:00 pm for the Hispanic Day Parade.
* Fifth Avenue between East 26th Street and East 51st Street in Manhattan will be closed 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm for the General Pulaski Memorial Parade.
* Lexington Avenue between East 42nd Street and East 57th Street in Manhattan will be closed 11:00 am to 6:00 pm for the Cathedral High School Street Fair.
* 8th Avenue between East 42nd Street and East 57th Street in Manhattan will be closed 11:00 am to 6:00 pm for the Cathedral Street Fair.
* Amsterdam Avenue between West 76th and West 86th Street in Manhattan will be closed 11:00 am to 6:00 pm for the Concerned
Citizens/St. Matthews and Timothy Festival.
* Church Avenue between McDonald Avenue and Ocean Parkway in Brooklyn will be closed 11:00 am to 6:00 pm for the Kensington Merchants Festival.
* Sanford Avenue between Union Street and Main Street in Queens will be closed 11:00 am to 6:00 pm for the Flushing Development Center Festival.

On Monday, October 8, 5th Avenue from 44th Street to 86th Street in Manhattan will be closed 11:00 am to 5:00 pm for the Columbus Day Parade
