Oem Advises New Yorkers of a partial Paratrasit Carrier’s strike
This morning, three of 14 paratransit carriers serving NYC Transit's Access-a-Ride program went on strike. NYC Transit has reassigned all subscription trips using private ambulette and black car carriers and continues to field requests for services through its main customer service number: (877) 337-2017. Priority service will be given to customers with special medical needs.
