Weekend Bridge and Street Closures

The Grand Street Bridge over Newtown Creek between Brooklyn and Queens will be closed from 6:00am to 4:00pm Saturday and Sunday to facilitate NYCDOT bridge repairs. Motorists will be routed to the Metropolitan Avenue Bridge.

The following streets in Queens will be closed on Saturday, February 9, from 1:00pm to 3:00pm for the Chinese/ Korean New Year Celebration:

Formation: 37th Avenue between Union Street and Main Street.
Route: Union Street from 37th Avenue to Sanford Avenue;
Sanford Avenue from Union Street to Main Street;
end at Main Street between Sanford Avenue and 39th Avenue.

The following streets in Manhattan will be closed on Sunday, February 10, from 1:00pm to 3:00pm for the Lunar New Year Celebration:

Formation: Mott Street between Hester Street and Spring Street.
Route: Mott Street from Hester Street to Chatham Square;
East Broadway from Chatham Square to Allen Street;
Allen Street to Grand Street;
Grand Street to Chrystie Street;
end at Grand Street and Chrystie Street.

The following streets in the Bronx will be closed on Sunday, February 10, from 8:00am to 1:00pm for the Bronx Half Marathon:

Formation: Goulden Avenue and Bedford Park Boulevard.
Route: south on Goulden Avenue from Bedford Park Boulevard to 195th Street;
right on 195th Street to Sedgwick Avenue;
Sedgwick Avenue to Mosholu Parkway;
Mosholu Parkway on eastbound lane to Marion/Hull Avenues;
turn around and head west on Mosholu Parkway westbound lane to Sedgwick Avenue;
left on Sedgwick Avenue to 195th Street;
left on 195th Street to Goulden Avenue;
right on Goulden Avenue to Bedford Park Boulevard;
right on Bedford Park Boulevard to Paul Avenue;
left on Paul Avenue to Mosholu Parkway;
right on Mosholu Parkway to Grand Concourse;
right on Grand Concourse to E. Burnside Avenue;
turnaround Grand Concourse to Mosholu Parkway;
right on Mosholu Parkway;
turnaround at Marion/Hull Avenue;
west on Mosholu Parkway to Goulden Avenue;
end at Goulden Avenue and Bedford Park Boulevard.
