Fund development has been ongoing but can be officially announced in earnest thanks to the gracious donation of renowned Polish-born American modern artist Julian Stanczak (www.julianstanczak.net).

Known as the creator of the Op-Art (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Op_Art) movement and featured in the Butler Art Institute permanent collection, the Cleveland resident has donated an artist print of his work “Double Fold” – silkscreen in colors, signed and numbered 25/90 in pencil, very good condition. 25 1/2″ x 25 1/2″

It will be part of the Fine Art Auction featuring works from the Cleveland School of Art to take place on Saturday, October 19, 2013 thru Rachel Davis Fine Arts 1301 West 79th Street, Cleveland, OH 44102. An online catalog is available at http://racheldavisfinearts.com. The print is item number #351 and can be seen in their current auction catalog online. Bidding is available online or in person.

For more information call 216-939-1190.
