The theme of the conference is “Responsibility to Protect.” A panel consisting of Robert Egnell (Visiting Professor, Security Studies Program and Associate Professor, Swedish Defence College), The Honorable Melanne Verveer (U.S. Ambassador at Large for Global Women’s Issues, 2009-2013, and Executive Director, Georgetown Institute for Women, Peace and Security), The Honorable Stephen Mull (U. S. Ambassador to Poland) – moderated by the Acting Dean of the School of Foreign Service, James Reardon-Anderson.
It will be held on Thursday, April 24 from 3-4:30pm at Georgetown University’s Lohrfink Auditorium in the Hariri Building. You must register at the Tickets link above by April 23.
Additionally, a staged reading of “Remember this: Walking with Jan Karski” will follow the panel. It will be held at Gaston Hall on campus and you must register for the event.
