Poland, who are currently 16th according to FIFA’s world rankings, look to be favorites in the groups. They will most likely battle it out against Romania and Denmark to consolidate first place. Montenegro, Kazakhstan, and Armenia around out the six teams in the group. Polish captain and talisman Robert Lewandowski will hope to translate his club form, having scored two hat tricks in his first two official games of the new season, to the qualifying rounds. Poland’s other stars also will want to continue their form, especially after moving to their new clubs. Grzegorz Krychowiak (PSG), Kamil Glik (Monaco), Arkadiusz Milik (Napoli) and Bartosz Kapustka (Leicester City) will all feature prominently in the upcoming matches.
