St. Patrick’s Cathedral has been blessed to welcome these beautiful and holy relics for full veneration throughout the day on Sunday, September 17, 2017 and Monday, September 18, 2017 from 7:00am-8:00pm each day to commemorate their first stop on this once in a lifetime American tour.
It is our hope that all faithful can have a moving experience with the most-holy relics of Padre Pio – which includes one of his blood-stained gloves and his personal mantel (cloak) – and witness Christ’s love through an active encounter with Padre Pio.
Sunday, September 17
- 7 am to 8 pm – Veneration with the official relics of Padre Pio of Pietrelcina
- Masses in honor of Padre Pio: 7:00, 8:00, 8:45 a.m.; 10:15 am; 12 Noon, 1:00, 4:00 (Spanish), and 5:30 p.m. (The 10:15 am Mass will be the offical welcoming Mass celebrated by His Emenence, Timothy Cardinal Dolan, with the Sistine Chapel Choir, and seating will be limited.)
Monday, September 18
- 7 am to 8 pm – Veneration with the official relics of Padre Pio of Pietrelcina
- Weekday Mass Schedule: 7:00, 7:30, 8:00 a.m.; 12 Noon, 12:30, 1:00 and 5:30 pm (The 5:30pm Mass will be the offical Closing Mass celebrated by Rev. Msgr. Robert T.Ritchie, Rector.)
