Bishop Robert Brennan, Bishop of the Diocese of Brooklyn, which includes Queens, will be the principal celebrant and homilist of the Mass.
The Diocesan Mass will follow the inaugural Mass of Pope Leo XIV on Sunday, May 18, at St. Peter’s Basilica in Rome. The inaugural Mass will mark Pope Leo’s formal installation as pope and the official beginning of his Pontificate.
The Mass is open to the public and will be broadcast live on NET TV and live streamed on the channel’s website at netny.tv. NET-TV is available on channel 97 (Spectrum), channel 30 (Optimum), and channel 548 (Verizon Fios).
