The speakers:
Ambassador Krzysztof Szczerski, Permanent Representative of the Republic of Poland to the United Nations in New York, and Iwona Korga, Ph.D., President of the Pilsudski Institute who will cover the story of Marian Cooper, the American pilot who fought in the Polish-Bolshevik War; America’s support in the fight for Polish independence during 1919-1921; the establishment and history of the Pilsudski Institute.
Ambassador Krzysztof Szczerski will discuss the lessons learned from that history, and draw implications for the politics in Central and Eastern Europe since Russia’s aggression against Ukraine.
Following the presentation will be an opportunity for Q & A.
