Pope to visit UNESCO headquarters in Paris
The Holy See Press Office emphasized in a statement that the discussions took place in a cordial atmosphere, and both sides expressed satisfaction with their good mutual relations. The outcome will be the Pope’s visit to UNESCO headquarters in Paris when Leo XIV makes a pilgrimage to France (25-28.09).
Dialogue – education – artificial intelligence
During the meeting between the Pope and Director Khaled El-Enany – as reported in the statement – the focus was on the need to promote integral human development through education. Attention was also drawn to the opportunities and challenges posed by artificial intelligence. Above all, the importance of education in dialogue between different cultures was reaffirmed as a privileged path to promoting peace, as well as the need to protect humanity’s cultural heritage.
