We publish the content of the papal greetings:

„I cordially greet Poles. The period of Lent encourages us to express a sense of faith, also through the ‘imagination of mercy’. May the works of assistance, organized in parishes by charitable associations and Caritas Polska, be an opportunity to practice almsgiving and works of mercy for soul and body. I bless you all!!”

In addition to individual pilgrims, the audience with the Holy Father in St. Peter’s Square was attended by: pilgrims from the parish of St. Francis of Assisi, Donaustadt in the Archdiocese of Vienna, students and teachers from the John Paul II High School No. 2 in Działdowo, a delegation of the authorities of the Lublin Voivodeship together with representatives of local government authorities and bodies responsible for infrastructure development in this region.
