May the works of assistance, organized in parishes by charitable associations and Caritas Polska, be an opportunity to practice almsgiving and works of mercy for soul and body. I bless you all!!”
In addition to individual pilgrims, the audience with the Holy Father in St. Peter’s Square was attended by: pilgrims from the parish of St. Francis of Assisi, Donaustadt in the Archdiocese of Vienna, students and teachers from the John Paul II High School No. 2 in Działdowo, a delegation of the authorities of the Lublin Voivodeship together with representatives of local government authorities and bodies responsible for infrastructure development in this region.
