Maria Konopnicka school's kids among Polish American Congress honorees

Brooklyn, N.Y. .. The Maria Konopnicka Polish Supplementary School was one of the honorees at the October 25th Annual Awards Banquet of the Downstate New York Division of the Polish American Congress.

Shown above handing over the microphone to her students as they sang and danced for the guests at the Polonaise Terrace is the school's director, Danuta Bronchard.
 
Other recipients of the Congress awards were Very Rev. Canon Thomas C. Machalski, Jr., pastor of St. Josaphat's Church in Bayside; Cathy Nolan, member of the N.Y. State Assembly and Malina Stadnik of New York's Polish Daily News, the Nowy Dziennik.
