Ridgewood registers for N.Y. City Elections

Ridgewood, N.Y. . . St. Matthias Church in Ridgewood, Queens was the latest site for the 2009 Voter Registration Drive conducted by the Downstate New York Division of the Polish American Congress

Shown helping St. Matthias parishoners complete their registration forms are Congress volunteers (seated from left to right) Adam Grochecki; Andrew Kaminski and Chris Rybkiewicz who heads the group.
 
Although the registration drive focused on Polish Americans as an ethnic group, "government decisions on moral and ethical issues important to Catholics are boosting our enrollments," said Rybkiewicz.
