Polish Hate Speech - a letter to Mr. Joe Earley, an executive vice president of marketing and communications for the Fox network

It is shocking that the same week that New Yorkers were honoring the Polish resistance fighter Jan Karski for his efforts to inform Churchill, Roosevelt and the rest of the world that the Nazi’s were murdering Jews at Auschwitz and other concentration camps, FOX TV’s series “Back to You,” was slandering Poles as Nazi collaborators.

Dear Mrs. Earley:

It is shocking that the same week that New Yorkers were honoring the Polish resistance fighter Jan Karski for his efforts to inform Churchill, Roosevelt and the rest of the world that the Nazi’s were murdering Jews at Auschwitz and other concentration camps, FOX TV’s series “Back to You,” was slandering Poles as Nazi collaborators.

Fred Willard told an employee to go bowling, saying, "You’re Polish. It's in your blood. Like eating kielbasa and collaborating with the Nazis."

This is not funny and historically wrong. In fact, Poland was the only country occupied by Germany not to establish a Quisling government, a collaborative regime, with the Nazis.

Shame on you.

FOX television owes all Polish Americans an apology and the writer of this line should be fired.
