Spend Your Vacation and Study Polish in Poland

Any foreigner wishing to learn Polish in Poland has a choice of three options. They can go to the summer school of Polish language and culture, operating from July to September. Most popular especially among students are 9-month Polish language courses which serve as pathways to study in Poland. Foreigners who decide to stay in the country are recommended to take Polish language classes conducted in foreign academic units.

Summer School of Polish Language and Culture

Where?: Academic centers, public and private universities throughout the country. Ministry of Science and Higher Education subsidizes the cost of holiday courses teaching Polish language and culture, and offers assistance to foreign students of Polish language courses in Polish language development through scholarships for summer courses. There are many private language schools, which contain in its summer program classes teaching the Polish language.

When?: Summer courses Polish language and culture are held in July and September.

How?: The course covers not only learn the language, but it is also an ideal opportunity to meet with Polish culture, history and customs. Summer Schools offer a rich and diverse program of cultural tourism which includes sightseeing tours, recreational activities, concerts, screenings of Polish films and meetings with interesting creators of culture.

9-Monthly Pathways to study in Polish

Where?: In Poland, there are currently seven centers conducting 9 - month preparatory courses serving as pathways to study in a Polish University (check http://www.go-poland.pl/polish-your-polish). Many schools, especially non-public, accept foreigners, and help organize these Polish language courses. Foreign students are welcome to such courses, even if they do not plan study in Poland.

When?: 9-month Polish language courses are run throughout the year.

How?: The course focus mainly on learning language, but also include studies about civics and culture.

Language Polish Language classes conducted in foreign academic units

Foreigners who do not plan to leave from Poland in the near future, have the opportunity to take Polish language learning courses in foreign academic universities. Ministry of Science and Higher Education sends over 100 teaching staff ever year to over more than 100 learning centers across the world.

When?: Polish Language classes are conducted throughout the academic year.
